Jean Tigana takes charge in Shanghai

Jean Tigana has been unveiled as the new manager of ambitious Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua, and the former Fulham manager will be the new coach of Chelsea striker Nicolas Anelka.

Tigana has been out of work since 2011, when he stepped down as manager of French side Bordeaux.


The Frenchman has reportedly been given a massive 45m GBP transfer fund to oversee a squad rebuilding process in China.
