Wolves close in on Frimpong loan
Wolves are closing in on a loan move for Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong. The central midfielder has fallen down the pecking order at the Emirates.
According to reports, the Ghanaian will link up with Mick Mccarthy's side in the first week of January, having been told by Gunners manager Arsene Wenger that he can leave the Emirates in search of first team football.
With Aston Villa also keen on the player, Wolves boss McCarthy had to make his move quickly to secure the services of the player who recently pledged his allegiance to the Ghana national team.
Arsenal still have very high hopes for Frimpong, and hope that the player will match the expectations of Wenger and benefit from a loan spell at a Premiership club, much like the example of Jack Wilshere who spent time on loan with Bolton.
