Pennant rules out Stoke City exit

Jermaine Pennant wnats to see out the remainder of his Stoke City contract, despite rumours of a January transfer window exit. Blackburn are amongst the clubs linked with the former Arsenal and Liverpool winger.
Pennant has just 18 months left on his current contract with the Potters, and has even been linked with a swap deal for Junior Hoilett of Blackburn.
However, Pennant wants to stay at Stoke despite the interest from other clubs: "I have a contract and I will abide by it. I have a year-and-a-half left and I will be here for another year-and-a-half. Every footballer wants to start games, but the manager has had a winning team and he's stuck to that.
