Mark Hughes lined up to take QPR job
Mark Hughes is reportedly the favourite to take the vacant Queens Park Rangers job, after the sacking of Neil Warnock last night. Hughes has been out of work since the end of 2010/2011, when he quit as manager of Fulham.
QPR disposed of Warnock last night after the club dropped to 17th in the Premier League, and owner Tony Fernandes decided the time would be right for a change at the helm. With only one point separating QPR and the relegation zone, Fernandes decided that now was the right time to act.
Mark Hughes is said to be very interested in a return back to Premier League football. Gianfranco Zola has also been linked with the vacant QPR role.
