Drogba top of QPRs shortlist

Chelsea striker Didier Drogba is reportedly new Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Hughes' top choice for his first transfer during the January transfer window. According to reports on Wednesday morning, QPR are set to offer the Ivorian a two year contract at Loftus Road worth a massive 135,000 GBP per week.

Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas has been unable to agree on a new contract with Drogba, and the forward has reportedly told colleagues at the club that he wants to quit Stamford Bridge as soon as possible.

Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua are also considering a move for Drogba, as they look to pair Drogba with his former Chelsea striker partner, Nicolas Anelka, who joined the Chinese club last month.

Queens Park Rangers have a massive transfer fund of 25m GBP for January.
