Arsenal boss rules out Matias Suarez deal

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has rejected talk of a move for Anderlecht striker Matias Suarez. The 23 year old is very highly rated in Belgium and expected to make a move to a bigger club in this transfer window.

"No, that's not true." said Arsene Wenger when asked about a potential move for the Argentine starlet.


Suarez has yet to force his way into the international setup for Argentina, and is desperate to find a new club that will offer more exposure for international selectors.


Suarez is valued at around 4.5m GBP, and other clubs in Europe such as Villarreal, Lille and German side Werder Bremen are monitoring his progress.
