Chelsea star Kalou waiting for Bosman exit

Chelsea striker Salomon Kalou will wait until the summer before making his next transfer move, as it appears the Ivory Coast international has decided that he will leave Stamford Bridge for free once his contract expires.

Arsenal had been linked with a move for Kalou in January, as Arsene Wenger is a long time admirer of the former Feyenoord striker. However, it appears the Gunners' interest has not translated into a transfer bid this month.


According to sources close to the player, Kalou has instead decided to leave Chelsea at the end of the year and is believed to have several options; including a move to Spain or Italy.


Kalou is currently training with the Ivory Coast in preparation for the African Cup of Nations tournament.
