Paris St Germain open talks for Tevez

Paris St Germain have opened talks for Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez. The wantaway Argentinian forward will be allowed to leave the club if an offer of around 30 million GBP is received.

PSG have reportedly opened discussions with the player and his representatives, and are confident that they can secure a deal. Director of Football Leonardo and PSG manager Carlo Ancelotti want to bring Tevez to the club in this transfer window.

"Carlos Tevez - it's a great opportunity for us to have a great striker," said manager Carlo Ancelotti.

"Today Tevez isn't playing for Manchester City, but he wants to play. Today, nothing is done. We have to talk with the player, and with Manchester City. We hope to find a good solution.

"I haven't had him on the phone, not him or his agent. It's Leonardo who is looking after that."
