Lazio to sign Keisuke Honda

Lazio will complete a move for Japanese international midfielder Keisuke Honda before the end of the transfer window. The former VVV Venlo player will complete a $19 million deal to Italy and finally complete a move to one of Europe's big three leagues.

Arsenal have a long term interest in Honda, but it appears Arsene Wenger will not be submitting a bid for a player widely regarded to be one of the best from Asia.


Instead, he will link up with Rome giants Lazio and put pen to paper on a four year contract worth a reported $175,000 per week.
