Mame Biram Diouf joins Hannover 96
Bundesliga side Hannover 96 have completed the signing of Mame Biram Diouf on a permanent contract from Man Utd. The Senegalese forward has completed a move to Germany for around 1.5 million GBP.
The sale of Diouf represents a substantial loss for United, who paid around 3 million GBP for the striker back 2009. Diouf failed to set the Premier League alight, and spent the majority of time warming the substitutes bench at Old Trafford.
"I am happy that with Mame Diouf we have another alternative up front," Hannover manager Mirko Slomka said.
"We need to bring him in fast so he can help us in the Bundesliga and the Europa League."We have to focus on integrating him quickly."
