Tottenham chase permanent Adebayor deal

Tottenham have opened talks with Manchester City this week, as they look to complete a permanent move for Togan striker Emmanuel Adebayor. The former Real Madrid and Arsenal forward has been in sensational form at White Hart Lane this year.
Man City are ready to accept a cut price 10 million GBP offer from Spurs, as they look to take the striker off their payroll with his expensive 180,000 GBP per week salary proving to be a huge problem.
The 27-year-old is currently tied to further six months of his loan contract at White Hart Lane, but is keen to extend his spell with the Lilywhites.
Adebayor is also hopeful that Tottenham will pay the entire amount of his City contract, should Spurs negotiate a suitable fee for the forward.
