Fabio Capello slams the FA over John Terry

Fabio Capello is reportedly very unhappy that the FA took the decision to remove John Terry from his role as England captain. The Chelsea defender has been forced to stand down whilst he awaits his trial for alleged racial abuse of QPR defender Anton Ferdinand.

Sources close to Capello have hinted that the Italian is very unhappy that the FA took the decision into their own hands and axed Terry as captain.

Meanwhile, the player himself is reportedly considering his long term international future, as he has grown frustrated with the lack of support from the FA.

"I completely disagree with the FA about the John Terry decision and I have told that to the chairman (David Bernstein)," Capello is understood to have said to Rai 1.

"I told him that I don't think someone can be punished until it becomes official. I considered and still consider Terry as the England captain. I think we first should wait for the trial conclusion.

"The court will decide. It's going to be civil justice, not sports justice, to decide if John Terry committed that crime. And I thought it fair that John Terry keeps the captain's armband."
