Arsenal manager confirms Henry exit date
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that New York Red Bulls' striker Thierry Henry will return back to the United States on February 16th, meaning that the Gunners' legend will miss the massive game with Tottenham on the 26th.
"There will be no return [for Henry] in the derby," admitted Arsene Wenger.
"I would have loved him to have stayed two more weeks but he has to go back. He is captain of the Red Bulls. We accepted from the start that we would release him then so we respect our word."
Thierry Henry has enjoyed a successful second spell with the Gunners, scoring a goal in the FA Cup against Leeds United and also grabbing a last minute goal against Blackburn in a 7-1 win last weekend.
