Arsene Wenger: Arsenal are still alive

Under fire Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger watched his Gunners side romp to a 5-2 victory over North London rivals Tottenham last night, and after the game the Frenchman insisted that the Gunners are still very much alive in their chase for fourth spot in the Premier League.
A barren run of six years without a trophy, and after crashing out of the FA Cup to Sunderland last weekend, the pressure is very much on Gunners manager Wenger to reverse the current run of poor form.
Wenger did his ambitions no harm after watching his side return back from a 2-0 deficit against the Gunners' biggest rivals Tottenham on Sunday, to win 5-2.
"Arsenal is alive more than anybody thought before the game. That performance, and the style of the game we want to play, was perfect despite a very bad start," said Wenger.
"We had a great spirit but I must say as well that the way we want to play football depends on the quality of the pitch and it is the first time in three games that we have played on a pitch that is a real football pitch. That helped."
