Tottenham scoff Gareth Bale injury talk

Tottenham midfielder Gareth Bale is not injured and out of action for three weeks, Harry Redknapp confirmed. There were reports the Welshman would face 3 weeks out on the sidelines.

The midfielder, who has scored nine goals already this year, missed Wales' international friendly with Costa Rica in midweek.


But Redknapp is confident Bale will return for the match against Manchester United this weekend.


"That's absolutely a million miles wrong," Redknapp said. "He hasn't even got a tear in his hamstring. It's just a little bit tight but it should be okay. It shouldn't be a problem. We will have to wait and see how he is. Hopefully he should be okay [for United]."
