Man City boss admits plenty of Adebayor suitors
Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini ruled out on loan Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor returning to the Etihad Stadium next year and revealed that there are many teams interested in the Togan striker.
Tottenham will have to pay an expensive price to secure the former Arsenal frontman, as it appears several clubs from abroad are also interested in his coveted signature.
Amongst those teams interested, it is understood that even Chelsea could make a surprise move for Adebayor, whilst Italian side Fiorentina could also make a surprise bid.
"Adebayor is playing well and I am happy for him," Mancini said. "He's a good guy and a good player and I am happy. If at the end of the season he wants to stay at Tottenham, they will buy him, or another team will. There are a lot of teams that want Manu."
