Man Utd chase Oscar de Marcos

Manchester United have been linked with a move for Athletic Bilbao attacker Oscar de Marcos in the January transfer window.

Manager Alex Ferguson is wary of the fact that both Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs could retire at the end of the season, and has been busy scouring Europe to find a suitable replacement.


The Bilbao forward is able to play anywhere in midfield or upfront, and his versatility is what appeals most to the Scotsman.


The 23-year-old has a €32 million release clause, but United will pay half that to secure his coveted signature.
