Arsenal consider Jack Butland move

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is ready to make a surprise move for Birmingham City goalkeeper Jack Butland, after growing tired of his current crop of goalkeepers at the Emirates.

Butland is also being monitored by Fulham, but it appears that the Gunners are in pole position to secure his signature already.


Manager Arsene Wenger admitted yesterday after a 2-2 draw with Swansea City that he would be ready to spend money in the January transfer window.
