Wigan desperate to keep Di Santo
Wigan manager Roberto Martinez is confident that he can persuade star striker Franco di Santo to stay at the club. The forward scored a stunning goal against Fulham at the weekend.
Since arriving at Wigan from Chelsea, di Santo has shown flashes of the brilliance that persuaded the Blues to swoop for his signature four years ago.
But Wigan are now confident they can keep the player at the Latics for the time being. Martinez said: "We will lose players and have to move players on but we also want to keep players. All I'm focusing on with Franco is that he keeps developing, that he keeps fulfilling his potential and just having the impact that he has today."
