Arsenal eye Sagna replacement Serge Aurier

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is ready to part ways with 29-year-old right Bacary Sagna at the end of the season, and turn to Toulouse's right back Serge Aurier as a ready made replacement.

The 20-year-old full back joined Toulouse last summer in a deal worth 1.4 million Euros from Lens, and in the process has impressed visiting Gunners scouts who have been preparing a dossier on the player for manager Wenger.

The Gunners have been battling to agree terms with Frenchman Sagna over the past few months; and there remains question marks over his long term future at the Emirates.

In recent years a number of Gunners' top players such as Samir Nasri and Robin van Persie have moved on to other Premier League sides, and there appears to be some suggestion that Sagna's fate could be similar as Chelsea are believed to be interested in the full back.

Aurier has full French citizenship, despite being born in the Ivory Coast, and so a work permit in England would be guaranteed.
