Fulham hoping to sign Stekelenberg
Fulham manager Martin Jol is hopeful that a deal for Roma and Holland international goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenberg can be agreed this month.
Roma's goalkeeper has been told he is free to leave Italy, and Fulham are eager to find competition for current number 1 goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer.
The Australian is now considered a veteran and Jol is ready to find a successor.
Stekelenberg might be available for as little as £3million.
