Juventus close in on Nicolas Anelka move

Juventus are ready to sign French striker Nicolas Anelka on a short term move. The Turin club have decided to bring the former Arsenal, Bolton, Liverpool and Chelsea man to the club for six months until Llorente joins permanently in the summer.

Anelka has been looking for a club since his release from Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua 2 months ago, and so far French club PSG appeared to be the only club able to afford his salary.


Juventus are now ready to agree a 55,000 per week Euro contract with the Frenchman, and hope to sign the player next week so that he can appear in their next Serie A game.
