Aston Villa still in for Kenwyne Jones

Aston Villa are hopeful that a deal can be completed before the midnight deadline for Stoke City striker Kenwyne Jones. The Trinidad and Tobago international is on Paul Lambert's transfer wish list.

Swansea were hopeful that a deal could be agreed to bring Jones to Wales, but baulked at his salary demands. Now Villa are ready to break the bank to bring the forward to Birmingham.
