Arsenal boss considers Giroud stop gap

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger admis that he has to make a decision soon with regards to the impending suspension of French striker Oliver Giroud. The Gunners will be missing the striker for three games.

Arsenal's manager admitted that Giroud's challenge was nasty. He now turns his attentions to choosing a solution up front in light of the red card.

"It looked like it [deserved a red card], yes," Wenger told Sky Sports.

"I spoke with Giroud just now and he said he slipped when he went for the ball and I don't complain about [the decision].

"We have to find a solution up front now for the final games but that can happen and we have to deal with that."
