Adel Taarabt to join Arsenal?

Arsenal's manager Arsene Wenger has been a long-term admirer of Queens Park Rangers' midfielder Adel Taarabt, and could make a bid for the playmaker at the end of the year.

Taarabt is a very talented player but rarely shows the performances in that he has been praised for in the past. This year at QPR Taarabt has not shown the fighting spirit for the cause that Harry Redknapp had hoped, and the attacking midfielder will be sold in the summer.

Arsenal have been interested in Taarabt for over two years - even when he was a player for bitter rivals Tottenham - and are ready to make a bid of around 5.5 million GBP for the player during the summer months.
