Liverpool make approach for Christian Atsu

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has contacted Porto regarding a potential transfer for Ghana international winger Christian Atsu. Porto will reportedly accept an offer of around 5 million Euros for the player.

Porto have recently played Atsu more regularly in the first team, but continues to be a fringe player at the Portuguese champions.


Liverpool are eager to find a new winger should tehy decide to revamp their squad - as expected - and Atsu is one of the names linked with a surprise move to Anfield.


Atsu has spent one year on loan at Rio Ave, and has spent his whole career with Porto.
