Tottenham won't sign Jackson Martinez

Porto international striker Jackson Martinez will not be sold this summer. The player's agent has ruled out talk of a move to Tottenham as the player is happy at this time playing in Portugal.

Spurs had been linked with a 20 million Euro swoop for the striker as the Lilywhites look to bolster their attack for the new season.


"Jackson Martinez has always said he wants to stay at FC Porto and he does not have to leave," said the player's agent Luis Manso.


"He is happy and his family too so I do not see the intention of the club to sell.


"It seems strange that the English press push the issue, there really is just Porto.


"We have not spoken to anyone and we are not interested in any negotiations. That's the truth."
