Atletico Madrid join Arsenal in chase to sign Barcelona star

According to latest reports in Spain, Atletico Madrid are planning to put up a bid to sign Spanish International David Villa from La Liga giants. Arsenal were favourites to sign David Villa during the January transfer window until Barcelona President Sandro Rosell insisted he was not for sale.

Barcelona are now open to the prospect of allowing their striker a move away from the Camp Nou amidst interest from a long list of clubs.


Arsenal are still interested in David Villa , with the North London club eager to improve their options upfront.
