Man City edge closer to completing Isco deal
Manchester City have moved a step closer to securing a deal for highly rated midfielder Isco. The Spanish youngster, currently playing for La Liga side Malaga, has been repeatedly linked with a move to the Etihad Stadium and reports indicate that a fee has finally been agreed with Malaga, worth around £21 million.
Real Madrid were amongst the teams vying for Isco's coveted signature, but the prospect of linking up with his former manager at Malaga, Manuel Pellegrini, have persuaded the player to move to England and join Man City.
£21 million is the figure being quoted in the Spanish press, a huge figure for the cash-strapped Spanish side.
It is understood that a deal could be wrapped up in the next four days for the player.
