Kevin De Bruyne happy to stay at Chelsea

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho officially confirmed that Kevin De Bruyne will be a part of his plans for next season. With that in mind, the player's agent has admitted that the Belgian international is happy to move back to Stamford Bridge.

After a season loan at Werder Bremen, the youngster had impressed many in the Bundesliga and Borussia Dortmund were reportedly interested.


It seems that he will instead be staying at Chelsea, though.


"Kevin spoke to Jose Mourinho on the phone while he was in America and he clearly expressed that he wants him to play a part at Chelsea next season,” Patrick de Koster told goal.com.

“Mourinho told him that he wants to make him a better player and this is very good news. 

“The desire of Kevin is just to play football and now he has received the news that Mourinho sees a role for him at Chelsea, he is very happy to stay."
