Everton to bid for Bruno Ecuele Manga?
24-year-old Gabon international Brune Ecuele Manga, currently playing for French Ligue 1 side Lorient, is a surprise target for Everton. Manager Roberto Martinez had the centre back monitored by his scouts whilst in charge at Wigan.
The 6 foot 1 defender began his career playing in Gabon for Libreville, before moving to France to play for Bordeaux, then Angers before finally ending up at his current club Lorient in 2010.
Manga had been brought in to replace Laurent Koscielny at Lorient, who joined Arsenal that same summer.
The pacey defender is now on Martinez's shortlist at Everton. According to reports from France, Lorient are looking for a fee of around 5 million Euros for the defender.
