Paulinho to wrap up Tottenham transfer next week

Brazil's international midfielder Paulinho will complete his long awaited move from Corinthians to Tottenham next week. The player helped take his country to the final of the Confederation's Cup with a goal in the semi's and will move to White Hart Lane on a £17 million deal.

The player has told reporters that he will complete a dream when he makes a move to England and plays in the Premier League. Spurs recently appointed Franco Baldini as the man responsible for all club transfers, the Italian has personally rubber stamped a deal to bring Paulinho to the Lane.


Paulinho said: "To play in England for a great team like Tottenham is a dream. What I respect about Tottenham is the ambition they have shown.


"When my agent made me aware that Tottenham were interested I knew it would not be a move that I could turn down."
