The agent of Edinson Cavani has held talks with the Sporting Director, Leonardo, of the French outfit Paris Saint-Germain over the issue of his client’s summer transfer. It has been reported by the French media that the agent has discussed a potential €63million move for the Napoli striker.

The Uruguayan international has been linked with a summer move to some of the big clubs, with speculations recently hinting that Chelsea are leading the race for his sign. Other clubs who have shown their interest in the star striker include Manchester City and Real Madrid.

But as Le Parisien have claimed in their report under the heading, 'Cavani, PSG's number one target', it is understood that Cavani’s agent, Pierpaolo Triulzi, flew in the French capital on Monday morning to negotiate a deal for his client.

The report also suggests that Leonardo spoke with Partenopei president Aurelio De Laurentiis about Cavani’s move to his club even before PSG confirmed Laurent Blanc as their coach.

Another media report from Gazzetta dello Sport reveals that Triulzi who has also been to London last week for reported Chelsea talks, will return to Naples on Tuesday to discuss the situation with Napoli.
