Johan Djourou completes Hamburg move
Arsenal have agreed a loan deal with Hamburg for Johan Djourou. The Swiss international centre back will spend the year ahead playing in the Bundesliga and have agreed the first option on a permanent deal.
Arsene Wenger told Djourou that he would not be a part of his first team plans for the year ahead and Djourou's scout has been busy trying to find a new team for his player.
"I'm very happy now that everything is sorted. HSV are a big club, with a lot of quality and great fans," said Djourou on Hamburg's official website.
"I am convinced that this is the right step for my career."
