Man City hope to wrap up Alvaro Negredo deal
Manchester City are confident that their second raid on Sevilla this summer, having already signed Jesus Navas, will prove to be successful. The Citizens are hoping to complete a move to bring Alvaro Negredo to the club.
Tottenham and Everton were two clubs keen to bring the striker in, but with the interest of the former Premier League champions confirmed, it appears that Negredo will be heading to the Etihad Stadium.
Negredo is being lined up as a replacement for Carlos Tevez, who last week joined Juventus for around 10 million Euros.
It is reported that the 27-year-old can leave Sevilla for a fee of around £24m.
