Honda To Milan?

As reports from Japan and Italy continue to pour in, it seems likely that Italian giants could soon be closing a deal with Japanese star Keisuke Honda. If the reports in The Japan Times are to be believed, AC Milan have agreed personal terms with Honda.

Milan vice president Adriano Galliani has continuously been in touch with the midfielder’s agents, pressing for a summer move from his present club CSKA Moscow. The Japan Times believes that Milan have agreed on a four year contract worth €2.5 million per season.

Whereas Goal reports that Galliani has ruled out the suggestion that the transfer has been confirmed, however he does hint that a deal might be in place and an agreement could be reached in future.

In his talks with Sky Sport, Galliani said:

"At the moment, he is a CSKA Moscow player.”

“But who can predict what will happen in the future?"

The 27-year –old midfielder has already revealed his desire to leave the Russian club this summer in search for better quality football. His contract with CSKA expires on January 1, 2014.

“If I go to a big club, I’ll become an infinitely better player. The improvement I’ll make then will be anything but minor. I’m the type to soak up everything and anything in my surroundings, and if I play with better players, I’ll get better. It’s how I’ve been able to get this far in my career.”
