Patrick van Aanholt joins Vitesse on loan from Chelsea

Defender Patrick van Aanholt has completed a loan transfer switch from Chelsea to Vitesse Arnhem for a second year running. The defender played 31 games for Vitesse before returning to England.

It appears that manager Jose Mourinho has no plan to integrate van Aanholt into his first team this year and has rubber stamped a loan exit for the defender.


The 22-year-old has already spent one and a half seasons on loan at Vitesse, as he comes into his third campaign away from the Blues.
