Sunderland to sign Emanuele Giaccherini

Sunderland are on the verge of completing a move for Juventus' midfielder Emanuele Giaccherini. The £7 million deal has already been agreed and the Italian international is flying to the Stadium of Light to discuss terms this weekend.

The 28-year-old will be a massive coup for the Black Cats as they start a rebuilding programme under Paolo Di Canio, having already brought in a host of new players this summer.


The player, who had just one year left on his Juve contract, will sign a four year deal at Sunderland.
