Atletico Madrid deny move for Santi Cazorla

Spanish side Atletico Madrid will not make a move for Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla, despite reports from Spain linking the playmaker with a switch back to his homeland.

The playmaker, voted player of the season last year for Arsenal, had been linked with a surprise bid from Diego Simeone's side Atletico.


However, talk of a move seems to be somewhat false, as Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo said: "We have no news of Cazorla. These are invented stories that are made up every day."
