AVB sidesteps Bale transfer talk
Tottenham Hotspurs boss Andre Villas Boas has refused to be drawn into further commenting about Gareth Bale's rumored transfer to Real Madrid in his post match press conference after his side lost to Sunderland in the Barclays Asia trophy.
There has been widespread rumors about Gareth Bale's move to the Bernabeu but the Spurs manager reiterated the club's desire to keep the Welshman at White Hart Lane.
Reports emanating from Spain suggest that the Spurs winger is close to sealing a switch to the Spanish capital and sign a six year contract with the Los Blancos.
The rumored offer £85 million would be too tempting to turn down for the North Londoners and might force Daniel Levy into selling the club's biggest star.
