West Ham reject Everton bid for Mo Diame
West Ham have reportedly rejected an offer from Everton for defensive midfielder Mo Diame. The former Wigan player has been linked with a move away from Upton Park since January but has so far turned down the advances of other Premier League clubs.
The 26-year-old joined the Hammers back in June 2012 in a deal worth £3.5million and during the January transfer window Arsenal were also linked with a move for the defensive midfielder.
Everton made a bid of £5million for Diame yesterday which has been turned down by the Irons. It is understood that Sam Allardyce wants Diame to be an important part of his first team for this coming season and has no plans to sell the Senegalese international.
