West Ham linked with Marko Arnautovic

West Ham want to sign Werder Bremen's 6 foot 4 striker Marko Arnautovic after seeing a bid for Salomon Kalou come off the rails. The Austrian international striker Arnautovic wants to make a transfer to the Premier League and the Hammers have made an initial enquiry for the player.

The former FC Twente striker scored only 5 Bundesliga goals last season but the Hammers are confident he will forge an excellent partnership with Hammers' forward Andy Carroll should he decide to move to Upton Park.


Werder coach Robin Dutt has given the all clear for the forward to pursue a move to another club and set his asking price at an initial 5 million euros.
