Liverpool's Managing Director Ian Ayre says Suarez is set to stay
Liverpool's Managing Director Ian Ayre has expressed confidence saying that their star striker Luis Suarez would not be heading for an exit from the club for Arsenal or Real Madrid this summer, according to reports in The Metro.
Ian Ayre said: “Despite what people think we’ve not had an intention of selling Luis, we’ve never said we want to sell Luis. He continues to work hard and train hard for Liverpool. That will continue and I’ll expect him to be here at the start of the season.
Arsenal are believed to be highly interested in the Uruguayan International after missing out on Gonzalo Higuain who opted for a move to Serie A outfit Napoli, but it is highly unlikely that the North London club will come back with a renewed bid for the player after having their last being rejected.
