Wenger questions Real Madrid's £105 million offer for Bale
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has questioned Real Madrid's rumored £105 million offer for Gareth Bale and believes it would make a joke out of FIFA's Financial Fair Play.
The Los Blancos have opened talks with Arsenal's north London rivals Tottenham over the transfer of Gareth Bale and look likely to sign him as the Welshman is pushing for the move.
Tottenham manager has insisted that the 22 year old winger is not for sale but Real Madrid remain adamant to bring the Premier League player of the season to Bernabeu this summer.
"It makes a joke of it. It's quite amazing that in the year where the Financial Fair Play comes in, the football world has gone completely crazy," Wenger said who is still in pursuit of Liverpool striker Luis Suarez.
"You wonder what kind of impact and effect it has on the football world. It looks like it has made everybody worse than before."
