Newcastle midfielder Cabaye not joining PSG

Paris St Germain manager Laurent Blanc has ruled out a move for French midfielder Yohan Cabaye. The Newcastle player has been long linked with a move away from St. James' Park.

The news will come as a major relief for Newcastle fans, who had expected Cabaye would eventually leave the club in favour of a move elsewhere. However, it is now understood that the Toon Army are considering a new contract for Cabaye.


"Right now, I’d say no,” PSG manager Laurent Blanc said. "But depending on how much we trim the squad by, it’s possible that we might take one extra player."
