Warnock: Blackburn unlucky
Steve Warnock has said that his Blackburn side were unlucky not to notch up three points against his former club Liverpool on Saturday. Blackburn hit the woodwork twice through David Bentley and through David Dunn.
Warnock, who joined Mark Hughes' side in January, told Rovers Radio: "It's the first time I've played them since I left the club.
"It was quite a nerve-wracking thing to play against your former club but I really enjoyed it and I'm a little bit disappointed that we didn't come away with the three points.
"We are looking forward to every game that comes up and we are disappointed not to get the three points in this game, whereas a couple of years ago we'd have been delighted to get a draw.
"It shows how far we've come that we feel we should be beating these type of teams."
