West Ham chasing Demba Ba
West Ham have emerged as candidates for Senegalese forward Demba Ba. The Chelsea striker previously enjoyed a short spell at Upton Park and could now return to East London after Jose Mourinho informed the player that he would be 3rd choice forward this year.
West Ham have been very active in the transfer window this summer but have yet to secure a much needed forward signing to partner Andy Carroll up front. Ba enjoyed a short spell at West Ham back in 2011, where he scored seven league goals. Since then he has moved on to both Newcastle and now Chelsea.
With forward Modibo Maiga set to quit the Hammers, Ba would be a perfect replacement and is available for a fee of around £10m.
