Malaga set to join Bentley chase
La Liga club Malaga are reported to be weighing up a move for free agent David Bentley after having been released by Tottenham Hotspurs this summer.
A host of Premier League clubs are believed to be lining up a move for the England international but even clubs from abroad are now joining in the race to sign him.
Espnayol and FC Utrecht are also believed to be considering making a move for the 28 year old but the former Blackburn winger is inclined towards staying in England.
Bentley, who has won 7 international caps for England, has been sent out on loan multiple times after he suffered a dip in form.
He enjoyed loan spells at Birmingham, West Ham, Russian club FC Rostov and his former club Blackburn Rovers after fnding his first team chances getting limited at White Hart Lane.
