Newcastle manager desperate for one more signing

Newcastle manager Alan Pardew is desperate to bring in another player before the end of the transfer window and is hoping that a striker will be signed. The Toon Army have so far completed a deal for Loic Remy on loan as their new forward transfer addition, but are looking to bring in another player.

“If it doesn’t happen (new signings), like everything in life we are going to have to get on with it, with what we have got," said Pardew.


"We have still got a very good team with Remy on top of it.


"We lost Ba and got other guys in January, I still think one more would be the perfect scenario.


"A big player coming in boosts the group as well as the fans.


"I am going to say something that I don’t think this is true and say ‘oh, it is not affecting them’. I think they would like to see another striker come in the door.”
