Mahamadou Diarra given Fulham lifeline
32-year-old midfielder Mahamadou Diarra has been given a Fulham lifeline by club manager Martin Jol, after the Dutchman confirmed that the player will be given a chance to prove his fitness again.
The player is currently a month away from returning to full fitness and has not played for the Cottagers since December 2012. The player had been released by Fulham at the end of last season, but Jol is set to give Diarra another chance to prove his fitness.
"He is doing a lot of ball work and the warm-ups with us," said Jol.
"He needs another three or four weeks before playing games with us or the reserves and then we will make a decision on him."
